There are four key times throughout every person’s life where they acknowledge the power of life’s transitional moments: birth, adolescence, joining together in marriage, death. And while every culture has its own rituals for these key life cycle events – what differentiates them and what makes them JEWISH? My goal is to take an ordinary moment in life and infuse it with holiness – to elevate an already special day into a sacred one. Each life cycle, and the many details of the day, provides an opportunity to connect with God and express our gratitude for the bountiful blessings of life at each particular time.
